This tree was constructed to help determine whether William BLEWETT of Paul, bc1710 could be the William C1706 at Gwinear. My grandfather, Henry Michael BLEWETT, had a belief that there was a connection between the Mousehole and the Gwinear BLEWETT families, though he had no evidence. William BLEWETT of Paul was his 3xgr.grandfather, and it seems improbable that a connection would have been remembered through five generations. If there were a connection it was probably made much more recently.

Was the William who married Mary MICHELL in 1756 at Gwinear
the William C1706? It seems probable,
though he would have been 50 at the time.
There is no other William at Gwinear, and a
William died in 1768 just after his last child
