John Tilbury may have been born in Farnham, Surrey, in 1684, but married and settled in Frensham, 4 miles away.

Several of John’s children moved again, settling in Froyle, some 5 miles from Frensham. These included Henry and his wife Sarah, and they baptised six children at Froyle.

One of Henry’s daughters, Betty, married John EVANS at Froyle and baptised two children there. After the death of her husband she went to live with her married daughter in Worplesdon
