LENNOX
or LENNOCH, is a common surname in Perthshire particularly around Dunblane. John LENOX
may have been born in Dunblane about 1700 but the only certain records of his
life are in the parish of Trinity Gask where he married twice and baptised
four daughters. He died in 1779 and
was buried in Trinity Gask churchyard where his gravestone still stands One of his
daughters, Mary, married James JUSTICE, a blacksmith from the nearby parish
of Tibbermore and spent the rest of her life there. |
