John was born in the village of Ordiquhill in Moray, possibly the son of George. He moved to Aberdeen and became a baker. He married Elizabeth Reid and their first child Isabella was baptised in the Roman Catholic Chapel there Isabella first married John WALKER in Aberdeen, and then James WALLACE in Glasgow. Both husbands died young and Isabella then lived with the daughter of her first marriage (now married to George Ogilvie STEVENSON) in Aberdeen and London. She died in Aberdeen aged 75 |
